A
Personal
Note
to
You...
Dear Friends:
We are celebrating the 25th anniversary of M.S. Growers, Inc. this
year! Your patronage and continuing confidence in our products and
services has made it possible for us to grow for two decades, and we
are grateful.
This summer our website has been updated and expanded to provide
our customers with easy access to information about M.S. Growers,
Inc., the plants that we grow, and many new photographs. We encourage
you to take advantage of this tool, and to communicate with us through
e-mail.
We are also excited to be adding several new varieties of plants to
our catalog this year. The Pieris Japonica 'Shojo' is a cultivar from
Japan and has black-red buds opening to very dark pink flowers.
We also have several new Rhododendrons. The Rhododendron 'Northern
Starburst' is a tetraploid of the PJM compact, with significantly
larger flowers of greater substance, strong stems and thick leaves.
These are being offered as a B&B plant in the smaller grade sizes.
Also, we are now offering two more Lepidote varieties of Rhododendrons
for the first time. 'Black Satin' blooms a couple of weeks later than
similar hybrids, with reddish purple flowers that are a striking
contrast with the dark mahogany-almost black colored winter foliage.
'Milestone' blooms in late April, with vivid reddish-pink frilled
flowers. Its autumn foliage is orange-red.
Thank you for your continued support and interest in our nursery
products. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you personally and
to give you a tour of the nursery. It is always a pleasure to visit
again with long-time customers and to meet new ones.
Sincerely,
Rita Snyder, President M.S. Growers, Inc.
